My sister and I worked remotely from Wasabi in Clarendon Hills to take advantage of the lunch special. The sushi is incredible. We were the only ones in the restaurant so I can't speak to the ambience nor service, but I will definitely come back.

This is our go to sushi place! Just a good deal for sushi. The fish is very fresh. Haven't tried the Thai food yet. My kids love this place too.

Amazing food. Always perfect, always beautiful. Service is great. Atmosphere is relaxed but lively and cute. Prices are fair. The menu is varied - it's not just sushi - it's also Japanese & Chinese dishes you crave, including really great egg rolls and crab rangoons. Everything here is great - you won't regret visiting!

There's always a great number of people on their patio... My friend and I came in after our barre class and the restaurant had maybe 10-12 tables full between indoor and out. We sat inside, received menus, our waters but our server was kind of delayed. I would like to think she was new or in training! She forgot quite a few things: We asked for straws and it took forever to get. We asked for lemons for the water and that we never got. She never really came around to check in on us. Towards the end, when we split our bill it took her a while and finally she asked for help. But had I known she was training or new we would give her some grief but she never introduced herself either... Anyway, the restaurant is cute and cozy. They do have outdoor seating. The menu is huge and has sooo many options! We ordered the following: 5/5 Garlic edamame 5/5Heat Sushi Roll 5/5 Godzilla Roll But I cannot wait to be back to try the rest of the menu out!

We came for a late lunch. Lots of very comfortable seating. Nice lighting and GREAT background music. Parking was easy right outside the door. Two large screen TVs and nice bar. Service was cheerful and prompt. 4.5 stars: Hubby had 3 roll lunch special. Comes with miso soup or salad. He had miso soup which he thought was slightly thin on flavor but otherwise good. Rolls were delicious! He enjoyed an eel roll, futomaki roll, and spicy tuna roll. 4.5 stars: I had the spicy miso ramen with choice of chasu pork or shrimp tempura. I had the pork chasu. Broth was absolutely perfect. That broth was so good hubby and I will dream about it! Pork chasu slices were ample and very good but a little thickly sliced. Ramen noodles were a little bland and not springy. All the other ingredients quite good including the egg. Yum! The menu is extensive so we will be back and update. They have Japanese, Chinese, and Thai specialties.

Decided to check out Wasabi's second location after hearing it was now open. If I didn't see a fellow yelper posting that it was open, I would not have known. The outside has a sign that says now hiring not now open. The inside is pretty small but cute. Servers kept checking on us. We got there around 430 on a Friday, and it took about 30 min for our food. Crowds started to pick up. I ordered 4 rolls, but only finished 3 so took one home. They have a decent size sushi list as well as appetizers. I would recommend as a place to check out in town!
